Sally McNally’s handmade traditional Christmas pudding are tasty, rich, and full of fruit. Serves 8 people.
Serving instruction is as Easy as 1,2,3:
1. Remove label, outer calico bag, and greaseproof paper.
2. Steam in inner calico bag for the allocated time per weight – 350g for 30 mins, 700g for 45 mins, 1.2kg for 60 mins
3. To Serve, cool for 10 minutes, snip string, remove from calico bag and place on a serving platter.
NOTE – Do not allow to cool too much otherwise pudding may stick to calico. If this occurs return to the steamer for 10 minutes. Serve warm with brandy butter, cream or custard. Refrigerate any leftover pudding and eat within one week.
